All these are great questions and we at EHR will take our time to answer them for you when we come out to give you a in home estimate. Hopefully this will help you make the best decision when it comes to your hardwood floor installation.

Wood Flooring

Lets take a moment and talk about how hardwood floor installation and how it works.

At EHR we always recommend  letting all wood floors sit uninstalled for at least 3 to 5 days so it can acclimate to the temperature in your home or business.   This is due to the natural expansion and contraction of wood flooring that takes place when the flooring is exposed to hot or cold weather. This will optimize the outcome of the flooring install and result in a trouble free long lasting result.

Once the floors have become acclimated, our EHR crew  will come out to your home or business and start the installation process, and depending on the square feet and the design/layout of the installation, this could take a matter of a days to a week for the installation to be completed properly.

Many of our customers wish to have a beautiful and serene environment by using large and small tiles to create that space.  With tile you can get as creative as you can imagine, and our team at EHR can turn your vision into reality.

Generally, tile is one of the most commonly used floor choice for high traffic areas like commercial offices, residential hallways, bathrooms and kitchens.

One of the benefits of tile is the vast selection of different colours, sizes and shapes from which to choose. We can help you through the entire process of what tiles you should use in areas like kitchens, bathrooms or other living spaces, to make sure you have a long-lasting, beautiful floor.
